MINIMALISM ART

Spreading to visual arts, music, Minimalism art expanded on the abstract notion that art should come from its own reality and not be a mere replica of something else.  Minimalist artists only responded to what was immediately in front of them, with the artworks created forcing viewers to only relate to what they could see.
