Su-en Wong is a Taiwanese artist, born in 1946. She was educated at the Taipei National University of Arts, and has exhibited her artworks extensively across Taiwan, Asia and Europe. Her art pieces are very diverse in style and content – from detailed paintings to abstracts sculptures. Su-en Wong, New York-based artist born in Singapore and now based out of the US for her artistic career. She first exhibited at a young age when she was 14 years old after being mentored by Liu Kang who is one of Singapore’s pioneer artists. At 16 Su-En moved to Chicago where she continued studying art before relocating back again to Seoul and then moving on from there as needed allowing her work to be seen globally such as MONA Tasmania or private collectors like Deddy Kusuma or MaGMA which has helped spawn an increase in demand for these works
In addition to her paintings, she also makes sculptures, prints, drawings, collages, installations, videos, sound pieces, and performance art.
